Stopped by on a whim, food was excellent and the Onion Rings were fabulous ( old school thin batter style ) We both had the seafood gumbo and it was delicious however didn’t care for the oysters in it but otherwise… To see delivery time I regret telling him those positive reviews because the two experiences he had, and the one I had with him were not pleasant at all.
Hard Country Cafe (Previously Longhorn Cafe)
When my plate arrived, the first thing that caught my eye was the golden-brown color of the steak. Walking into The Louisiana Longhorn Cafe, I was instantly greeted by the tantalizing aroma of amazing food. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to answer any questions I had. The crispy fried green tomatoes were a revelation, tangy and flavorful with a perfect golden crust.
Jack Allen’s Kitchen not only delivered in terms of presentation but also satisfied my taste buds with their well-presented and tasty food. The great atmosphere at Jack Allen’s Kitchen adds to the overall positive experience. Their delicious steak, coupled with their unique take on banana pudding, will leave you completely satisfied. Not only was the food outstanding, but the atmosphere at Liberty Barbecue was also something to behold.

At its peak Cahokia is estimated to have had a population of more than 20,000. Plaquemine culture was contemporaneous with the Middle Mississippian culture that is represented by its largest settlement, the Cahokia site in Illinois east of St. Louis, Missouri. Nearly 2,000 years later, Poverty Point was built; it is the largest and best-known Late Archaic site in the state. Once part of the French colonial empire, the Louisiana Territory stretched from present-day Mobile Bay to just north of the present-day Canada–United States border, including a small part of what are now the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. It experienced an agricultural boom, particularly in cotton and sugarcane, which were cultivated primarily by slaves from Africa. The French claimed the territory in 1682, and it became the political, commercial, and population center of the larger colony of New France.
